Dick Vitale, Jay Bilas receive advance copies of Rick Pitino’s book

Rick Pitino’s book is set to release next week, and a few big media members are already getting advanced copies.

ESPN’s Dick Vitale and Jay Bilas received and read the book, and both hinted that it’s going to rock the college basketball world.

To no one’s surprise, Vitale is defending Pitino again, saying “naysayers” will change their minds on the situation after reading the book.

Bilas said the book is “gripping” and “compelling,” saying it sheds light on the NCAA/FBI situations, his coaching career, and more.

The tell-all book where Pitino says he will “lay all his cards on the table” is set to release on September 4. And it just might be worthy of a KSR dramatic live reading.

Get your popcorn ready, BBN.

Vitale obviously doesn’t understand that the FBI arrested men that schemes to mislead college basketball players. Offering $100,000 for a player to attend U of L was not an attempt to mislead or lie to that player. Illegal in the NCAA’s eyes but the FBI did not care.

I hope he doesn’t lay all the cards on the table! We all know what happened the last time he laid something on the table.

Katina and her girls laid all of the Cards on a table, so nothing new here.

Also, the senile Vitale doesn’t seem to realize that you can violate an NCAA rule but not be indicted of violating a law.

So many things about Pitino are very difficult to understand. Does he really think people believe him? Why do people like Bilas and Vitale continue to defend him? Would anyone actually buy his pitiful book?

Vitale is so ridiculous and annoying that it’s just sad. This man has defended Pitino through everything. How can someone, in good faith, defend a person like Pitino after all the scandals? How can someone believe what Pitino says in his book after he has continuously denied everything he’s ever done? And Pitino is supposedly a control freak. Control freaks don’t allow stripper parties and $100k payments to players. The bromance Vitale has for Pitino is so disgusting and nauseating.

Pitino should be Trump’s next press secretary with his veracity (rolling eyes).
