Darius West suffers a broken leg, again

Some terrible news regarding one of Kentucky’s top 2014 commits this evening:

Darius West, the No. 24 safety in the 247 rankings, broke his right leg for a second time in seven months today. He will have surgery on Friday.

West suffered the same injury last summer and tweeted, “Minor set back for a crazyyy come back!!!!!! Nothing is gone stop me from doing what I want to do in life and thats play in the league!”

After re-injuring the leg today, he said everything happens for a reason and he’ll be “back at it in a few months.”

We wish him the best as he gets ready for the road to recovery once again.

Yes they did, they REALLY wanted him but obviously won’t admit to it now in hindsight.

Even those with no class at all don’t say bad sh1t about a kid with an injury. You are a classless coward.

If karma is involved, you had better be ready for some bad sh!t to come your way.

LOL what a douche bag comment! One of your uneducated, classless commits pulled the old pick a hat & drop it last Signing Day. Perfect fit for UofL though, true L1C5 material.

If that’s the way it works, then UL wouldn’t have an AD, coach, or enough players to field a team.

    Get bent, troll!

Micheal Bush had a bad leg break in college, and it healed strong enough for him to still be able to play in the NFL. So, stay positive Darius.

The Alabama way would be to ask him to grayshirt. Please remember that Mr. Elam.

When a UK recruit gets a broken leg before enrolling, does UK suggest an orthopedic surgeon?
