After a weekend filled with good times and wins for the Kentucky athletic department, some bad news may spoil the beginning of this week a bit. Chicago Bears head coach John Fox says that the Bears’ training staff believes that former Kentucky linebacker Danny Trevathan has sustained a serious injury in his knee.

Ian Rapoport tweeted that the Bears are thinking that the knee injury may possibly be a torn ACL, which would obviously mean the end of the season for Trevathan. Hopefully, that is not the case, but if they are already coming out and saying that it is probably an ACL injury, it doesn’t look good for Trevathan.

Sending some well wishes your way Danny! Get better soon!

Why is the comment section allows turned “OFF” when Jonathan Miller shoves his agenda (“written as if it were unassailable gospel”) down the throats of sports fans? This is one reason I limit coming to this site and will resume that approach going forward. The site was entertaining at its inception with a thoughtful, sports and personal touch (non-political), from Matt on a daily basis. Then, he moved on to bigger and better for himself but the site has become smaller and worse — thanks in no small part to the invasion of writers who simply provide frat boy two sentence articles or push an agenda.
