Fresh of a monster game against Whitley County (257 yards and 2 touchdowns on 13 carries), number one running back in the country Damien Harris attended UK’s game this afternoon against UT Martin. Apparently, he sat in the student section with members of the basketball team:

Recruit away, boys.

Damien also picked a nice game to attend if he was hoping to catch a glimpse at Kentucky’s rushing attack. UK finished with a whopping 234 yards and 6 touchdowns on the ground – certainly not a bad display with the nation’s number one running back in attendance. According to his Twitter, Harris liked what he saw:

Harris would be a huge get for Stoops and co. Come on down, Damien.

This news makes me more optimistic about UK’s chances. That and the goose egg OSU laid this week!

What? The clown with the “UTM had well over 200 yards” post hasn’t been here yet?

Damian should seriously think his commitment to UK through.

UTM got well over 200 yds. rushing. Not well played on defense despite the turnovers.

Poor quarterback pressure, pushed around by a small offensive line and the great defensive ends did squat today. Where is Bud and Z ? AWOL IT SEEMS!

Well the Cats got another game to improve on the shortcomings of this one before SEC play. Lets hope it is enough to take the Gators down.

A feel good win over a really overmatched team. Cats should have won by 60 points but the defense needs work badly. Offense looks good but the O line could have been better..

Wow. Gotta say, great insight 2mites. I value your opinion highly. However, I don’t think you have quite the reach you need on this single post. You should definitely copy and paste this on all the other posts. Go get ’em man!

People can say what they want to about that defense, but it’s game 1. Yeah, they had a little bit of trouble shedding blocks and filling gaps, but they kept them out of the endzone until the 4th quarter. The secondary came up HUGE with some big picks and hits. Regardless of the Defensive play, the offense looked great and that’s what I think Damien is more interested in. 446 total yards before halftime. This is Stoops’s 2nd year leading this team, and, contrary to popular opinion, you can’t change a football team overnight…especially in the SEC. We’re heading in the right direction with these recruiting classes and it shows on the field. There’s a change coming in the Bluegrass!!! Stoops is building something special in Lexington. Just hope Damien decides to be a part of that change.
