Damien Harris’ new 2014 highlight reel proves giving the ball to Damien Harris simply isn’t fair

Damien Harris is only three and a half games into his senior season of football at Madison Southern and he already has an amazing highlight reel of plays on YouTube. With over 900 yards on the ground for 12 touchdowns on 53 touches, Harris is proving that, not only is he worthy of his No. 1 ranking, but giving him the football simply isn’t fair.

That play out of the Wildcat formation at the end. Little buddy free safety just keeps losing ground and gives up before Damien even hit the 15 on his way for six. He knew it was already over.

He could be a wildcat in the wildcat…

Its so cute when he is lined up in the backfield with the QB…..as though they really needed the QB to hand Damien the ball. I guess there needs to be a spot on every football team for any player….even a quarterback.

It reminds of me of watching Shaun Alexander in high school, but even better. It’s so obvious the talent gap between him and pretty much everyone else on the field. Wow…just wow.

Was gonna say the same thing. Very similar to Shaun.

His vision and speed is just unreal. He’s making video game moves in real life.

After the Florida game, I really think UK has a good chance to land him. It would be an epic get for the Cats, and it could be a difference maker for what kind of bowl the Cats go to in a couple of seasons.

And just like Drew Barker drew other recruits to UK, I believe Damien will do the same for UK.

Damien is a great collge prospect. He averages 17 yards per carry and every 4.4 carries a touchdown. But how about Keith Guy, Scott County. He has gained 545 yards, 6 touchdowns in only 26 carries, a 21 yards per carry and a touchdown every 4.3 carries. Keith may not be the college prospect that Damien is but he is a great high school player. He is a junior.

When watching this kid I feel like I am controlling the player on Return Man on ESPN Arcade. He jukes through defenders with ease. I usually don’t give too much praise to high school athletes because, lets face it, there is a large gulf between high school and DI ball, especially the SEC, but this kid definitely deserves some respect. This kid would be a “double yahtzee” for UK.
