Courier Journal Says UL Women Win…Say What?

According to this morning’s Courier Journal sports page, the Louisville women’s basketball team edged Western Kentucky 71-69. The only problem is….that never happened! WKU actually defeated the 16th ranked U of L women’s team after making the go-ahead layup with 43 seconds remaining. A turnover and foul later, the Lady Toppers closed out the game to get the upset.

So Courier Journal, how about those #16 Cardinals edging the Lady Toppers? Close game, huh?
