I don’t know if KSR did these guys any favors putting them so close to the end, when we’re all probably weary of subs. But I think it will be a good show. Who has it tomorrow?

Finally bring KSR names after five minutes free promotion for themselves lol

Right? Jeez, dudes. Do the show first. Give that stuff at the end.

My Conclusion: the second hour guys are much much cooler and better than the first hour heavily self promoted dudes (however, I vote them #2 worst since the worst hosts still the UNC & Ohio State two trolls) if Matt trusts my vote lol
We Miss Matt So Much and good thing is he is finally back next Monday 🙂

  3. I just read the post about Isaac signing with the Aussie team. What the heck is the NBA G League??? Did Drew mean to say D league?

I listened to part of the new Depth Chart podcast on my way to work. UK had 16 fumbles and 12 interceptions last season. Wow. I feel hopeful because I am sure there is a huge focus on fixing that, and that will make a huge impact on close games.

  5. Fun fact: Bunch Stallings is the player that Neal Brown and another coach (I forget who) were going to see in Bham when the polar vortex hit and they had to walk in the snow/ice and spend the night in the school.

2nd fun fact: Bunchy was only a 2 star. It looks like they found another diamond in the rough back then.

These guys are more knowledgeable than many of the big name hosts we’ve had in the last month. That’s refreshing.

most of the guests before except last week were non-uk fans. we all know uk fans are the most knowledgeable group of fans in the world 🙂

Exactly Jay. We don’t need non-UK media explaining broad, generic concepts when we eat, sleep and breathe this stuff.

Been away for a while. My father went into the hospital last week with what they thought was a mini stroke. Turns out he had a brain tumor. They performed surgery to remove it last Wednesday, and he is recovering at home now, but doctor is suspicious that it is malignant. Waiting for the path report on Monday – it’s like waiting for the other shoe to drop. Needless to say, my thoughts have been pretty far away from sports lately, but I have been trying to check in to KSR from time to time.

Sorry RCF. That makes for a rough weekend of not being able to avoid worrying about it, I’m sure. Prayers.

    • Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that. I’ll pray for your dad and your family.

The hardest part is watching him and my mom having to worry about this and deal with it. No one deserves something like this, but particularly my parents. They are part of that “greatest generation” of Americans that I don’t think will ever be equaled. Good thing is that they have lived through a lot and therefore they are both very strong in spirit and faith, if not in body. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!

I would want us to get a Darius or Dominique at least once every 4 years. I just love to root for that kind of guy. Every year would eventually mean having 4 at a time, and there’s not room for that.

agreed. so i would say compromise and grab at least one every two years. so we can always have an upperclassman and a rookie to support the team every year.

Well, Hour 1 was a disappointment. Shout-outs, self-promotion, and football from people with no legitimacy. Hope Hour 2 is better. I feel like it will be.

Too heavy on the self promotion, but it could have been worse, imo.

Anyone in that position woukd have done the same thing. It was alot better than most guests. They did pretty good actually. Better than matt does himself at times.

Not even close. They were terrible. Completely unaware of the stage they were given.

Hour 2 guys are pretty decent. I wonder which one was Matt’s pick, and which was the one fans picked.

Hour 2 guys were good. Plus they had the benefit of following the Homer dudes. They wound make anyone look good.
