Come see KSR at the Owensboro Kroger

Come see us at the Owensboro Kroger located at 2630 Frederica Street at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Nick Roush and I will record a Facebook live and hand out Kroger gift cards to those that say the magic words, “Kroger Presents the KSR Game of the Week between Owensboro and Owensboro Catholic.”

Owensboro and Owensboro Catholic are both 4-0. The Red Devils beat Muhlenburg County 55-0 last Friday. The Aces topped McClean County 37-0.

Owensboro is led by quarterback Gavin Wimstatt who is ranked as the No. 1 junior in Kentucky according to Rivals. He’s currently rated as a 4-star and listed as the No. 50 player in the country in the Class of 2022. Wimstatt’s primary target is Treyvon Tinsley. The Red Devil defense is led by LB Austin Gough. Gough has racked up 44 tackles and 2 tackles for loss through four games.

Owensboro Catholic junior QB Lincoln Clancy leads the Aces’ offense and is joined in the backfield by freshman RB Hunter Moore, who has rushed for 275-yards and 3 touchdowns. Clancy’s top pass catcher is Braden Mundy. Mundy has 7 touchdown receptions in 2020. LB Christopher Boarman is the team’s top tackler with 45, 6 tackles for loss, and 2 QB Sacks this season.

Should be a good one. The Kroger KSR Game of the Week is another rivalry game with the winner having bragging rights in the city of Owensboro.
