Come out to Sleep Outfitters in London! (Wednesday Show Thread)

The Kentucky Sports Radio statewide tour make its 16th stop tomorrow in London at Sleep Outfitters. Matt and Ryan will do the show in a store full of beds, so come on out and get comfortable if you’re in the area.

We plan to have live audio from Mark Stoops at SEC Media Days in the first hour, assuming all the technical stuff works out. Wish us luck.

Join in on the fun by calling (502) 571-1080.

Dorky accountant question…You mentioned contract negotiations and got thinking about the “business” of KSR. Who owns KSR? How many employees does KSR have? How does the business work in relation to the radio stations?

The UNC players also need another point guard after Ty Lawson got his SIXTH DUI in six months.

Most of Duke’s guys in the pros aren’t all that good. Would any of us really worry about a team with Austin Rivers, a bunch of Plumlees, and Ryan Kelly? JJ Reddick is decent, and Kyrie Irving is good, but injured constantly. The jury is still out on Jabari Parker and the rookies. Long story short, a Duke pro team doesn’t really scare me.

I was thinking about that the other day. Florida would probably put up better competition honestly. Beal, Horford, Noah, Lee, Brewer, Parsons, etc.

I honestly hadn’t thought about Florida, but you make a very good point.

Even considering Jason Williams can still ball. I would think they’d at least be in consideration for the 2nd best alumni team behind UK.

I have to say, I am curious to see how Jabari Parker will turn out. He didn’t have a bad rookie season, but didn’t really blow me away either. I know he was injured and didn’t play a whole season, but even when he was playing is seems like I never really heard anything about him.
