To paraphrase Adolf Rupp, if he’s not smart enough to choose UK over IU, he’s too dumb to play here anyway.

That was basketball. Basketball has nothing to do with football, but I agree considering the direction of both football programs.

The same must be true for Matt Elam. If he’s too dumb to pick UK over Bama, then he’s too dumb to play there anyway. The latter is a lock for 2+ national titles in his 4-5 years,

The former is a lock for 0 national titles or even conference titles. Maybe he’ll get to go to the BBVA Compass Bowl as a reward.

Lol. Picking between IU and UK for football. Winning must not be important to him. Picking between these doormats is like picking between Auburn and a rutgers in basketball.

You do realize that he had other offers (choices): Arkansas, Illinois, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Pitt, etc. So if he picks UK, he picked them over all of those schools, not just IU.

That is his point. he has the options to go to big time winning programs but his top two are programs who do not tend to win a lot of games, hence his key focus is obviously not on going to where he compete for the national title.

There was a pic of Cal sitting at home in his recliner less than 48 hrs after his surgery. It was not a TH arthroplasty. Cal said it was a “nerve thing”.

Kentucky and Indiana. Oh boy! The worst team in the SEC vs. the worst team in the Big10. An epic powerhouse struggle between two titans of football.

You’re clearly forgetting that the Big 10 just picked up Maryland and Rutgers, plus there’s still Purdue and Illinois. At worst, it’s a 5 way tie for the worst team in the Big 10.

Yo Bubba, IU finished 4th in the Leaders division and ahead of Illinois, Northwestern and Purdue over all.

When IU comes in second for his services, does Crean grab a chainsaw and cut down a goal post to celebrate?

No, but it makes the cover of a Popcorn box and an ESPN commercial trailer.
