Kentucky is squarely in the mix for one of the nation’s top players regardless of position.

A day after Tipton Edits broke the news that Chris Livingston, a five-star small forward from Akron, OH, would take an official visit to Kentucky during the weekend of June 18-20, Tipton Edits is now reporting that the Wildcats have made the top 11 for Livingston.

Along with Kentucky, the 6-foot-6, 200-pound rising high school senior is down to a bevy of big-name programs and one non-college route: North Carolina, Memphis, LSU, Ohio State, Georgetown, Kansas, Tennessee State, Florida, Alabama, and the newly established Overtime Elite professional option.

Livingston is set to visit Kentucky’s campus the same weekend that fellow five-star, Dereck Lively II, will be in town to do the same. As we’ve said time and time again on this site, June is shaping up to be a massively important month for recruiting. Livingston initially picked up his offer from head coach John Calipari in the middle of May.
