Chick Fil-A got rid of the Spicy Biscuit

Too many have ignored the news, opting to cover whatever’s going on in Cleveland.  KSR is all over Cleveland, but our journalistic integrity runs deep, preventing us from ignoring the story that is shaking up the South —  Chick Fil-A is no longer serving the spicy chicken biscuit for breakfast.

For most people who have tastebuds, the spicy biscuit was the pièce de résistance for the southern fast food chain.  For one Kentucky Sports Radio blogger, the spicy biscuit was the traveling fuel that ensured safe travel from Hoover back to the Commonwealth.

Now it’s gone.  The only thing that remains are the wrappers in the floor of my car.

My thoughts exactly, Tim.

Filling the void on the menu is the new “Egg White Grill.”  Don’t worry, it’s not the same as McDonald’s egg white delight, it’s worse.  The Chick Fil-A spin of the egg white sandwich has grilled chicken “with a hint of citrus.”  Instead of orange juice with your meal, no worries, it’s grilled right into your chicken.

I hope I’ve shed enough light on this American tragedy.  Please, don’t mourn for long.  Take joy in knowing they fell flat in the KSR Restaurant Bracket, which will be completed on tomorrow’s radio show.  You don’t want to miss their exciting coverage from Cleveland, debating Outback vs. Cracker Barrel.

Looks like the chicken and the egg arrive together on the Egg White Grill.

    Solves THAT mystery.

If everyone orders one – and asks when they plan to bring it back – this mistake or marketing stunt will soon end with the joyous return of the Spicy Chicken Biscuit.

Bojangles to the rescue, their biscuit is the best anyway.

Word, you said what I was going to say. Chick Fil-A is colossally overrated anyways.
