As I hold back tears, it is the last day of the regular season in the NFL. For some of our ‘Cats, it will be the last time we see them suit up in 2019. For others, they are fighting for one last playoff spot. We already know Za’Darius Smith, Lonnie Johnson, and Larry Warford have secured their spot, but guys like Randall Cobb, Benny Snell, Bud Dupree, and Wesley Woodyard are hanging on by a thread. Week 17, let’s ride.

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Mike Edwards) 1:00 pm ET on FOX

This game is just to see Jamies Winston go 30 for 30 on the year. It would be nice to see Mike Edwards have a big game to propel him into the 2020 offseason. We will find out soon enough.

New Orleans Saints (Larry Warford) at Carolina Panthers 1:00 pm ET on FOX

The Saints are headed to the playoffs and the Panthers might be starting the rebuilding process. I don’t expect a lot from this game. Give me the Saints by 17.

Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys (Randall Cobb) 4:25 pm ET on FOX

Do I love hating the Cowboys? Of course. Do I hate seeing Randall Cobb not play football? 100%. So I’m kind of torn in this game. I want to see the Cowboys miss the playoffs, but I would like to see Cobb play in January. Cobb and the Cowboys need a win and an Eagles loss to make the playoffs. Just come back to Green Bay, Randall. Please.

Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars (Josh Allen) 4:25 pm ET on CBS

Both of these teams will miss out on the playoffs this year, so this game will probably not have a lot of eyes on it. Unless, of course, you’re trying to watch Josh Allen wrap up a season in which he will try to finish the season leading all rookies in sacks.

Pittsburgh Steelers (Benny Snell, Bud Dupree) at Baltimore Ravens 4:25 pm ET on CBS

The Steelers will need to win and hope the Titans lose to sneak on into the playoffs, in what would be a remarkable coaching job by Mike Tomlin. However, they face the most explosive team in the NFL in the Ravens. Luckily, the Ravens have decided to rest their superstars, and it will be a sloppy game at the Bank today so we will probably see a run-heavy game and great defense. It could be a big day for both Benny Snell and Bud Dupree as they try to reach the playoffs.

Tennesee Titans (Wesley Woodyard) at Houston Texans (Lonnie Johnson)  4:25 PM ET on CBS

It is simple for the Tennesee Titans. Win and they’re in. Wesley Woodyard will be facing a Texans team that has decided to rest their players, so he might have a big game as the Titans try to reach the playoffs. This game might also be a big one for Lonnie Johnson since the Texans have decided to rest their players, which will give the rookie more opportunity to make plays in the secondary.

Green Bay Packers (Za’Darius Smith) at Detroit Lions 1:00 pm ET on FOX

Za’Darius Smith and the Green Bay Packers may have already locked up their playoff spot, but they’re still not done with the regular season. The Packers will need a win over the three-win Lions to lock up the week one bye in the playoffs. Big Z will try to give an encore of his stellar, three-sack Monday Night performance when he visits Ford Field at 1:00 pm ET.
