Only two more weeks to go in this wild NFL season so cherish it while you can as the playoff picture becomes more clear by the day.

Last night Kentucky had two ‘Cats play in the Saturday triple-header that saw Mike Edwards and the Bucs destroy the Lions en route to Tampa Bay’s first playoff berth in over a decade. Saturday also saw Lynn Bowden and Co. eliminate his former team from playoff contention after a circus-ending as the Dolphins further solidify their chances in the playoffs after a 26-25 victory over the Raiders.

It was a relatively quiet day for Bowden considering his performances over the last three weeks; he finished with two catches for eight yards and converted a third and short for eight yards. However, it’s clear he has a serious role in the Miami offense. He will continue to flourish.

Looking ahead to today’s action, all eyes are in Green Bay for the Sunday nighter between two teams that played in their respective Conference Championships a year ago. Za’Darius Smith and the Green Bay Packers look to continue their quest for a one-seed against the Tennesee Titans. This will likely be the biggest test for Big Z and the Packers’ run-defense when they take on King Derrick Henry and his quest for 2,000 rushing yards in a season. However, I think Green Bay outpaces Tennesee and the Packers seal up the one seed.

Sorry in advance, Drew and Tyler.

Danny Trevathan and the Bears will square off against Josh Allen’s Jaguars as they try to overtake the Cardinals for a spot in the NFC Wild Card. Meanwhile, the Jags are somehow in position for the number-one draft pick after the Jets beat the Rams a week ago.

Finally, there’s a heavyweight matchup in the Steel City. Benny Snell and Avery Williamson will look to get their team on track after three straight losses, including an embarrassing performance against the Bengals on Monday Night. They will do so against the 10-4 Colts who are still looking to overtake the Titans in their division.

There’s some good football on today; here’s the rest of the schedule for Cats in the NFL in Week 16:
