Cal will visit Stanley Johnson tomorrow

stanley-johnson

Cal wasn’t joking about that whirlwind recruiting tour. After seeing Tyus Jones last night and Myles Turner today, Calipari will fly to California to do an in-home visit with 2014 small forward Stanley Johnson tomorrow. Johnson is considering Arizona, Kentucky, Kansas, Florida, Oregon, Duke, UCLA, and USC and will also take an official to Kentucky for Big Blue Madness on October 18th.

Johnson was the first small forward Calipari offered, something the California wingman says carries a lot of significance. He’s considered the third best player in the 2014 class by Rivals. He says he likes Kentucky and Cal a lot, but Arizona is making a big push, and will host him on an official visit this weekend. Hopefully Calipari can make a lasting impression tomorrow.

This kid has UK written all over him. Towns, Ulis, Booker, lyles, blackmon, johnson, and maybe winston locks up another #1 class for UK.

Stanley is the motor guy we need for this class. In recent years we had Terrence Jones, MKG and now Julius Randle. Stanley in my opinion is pivotal to the 2014 class.

Stanley and Okafor are the 2014 alpha males that demand everyone play hard and stay focused. Cal needs one of them for sure. Both would be money….

Did anyone read that article on Wildcat Blue Nation yesterday, article was about projected next year’s NBA Draft, the list went like this JR even though he isn’t a Ewing was projected number 2, the ones that confused me was Aaron Harrison was number 7, and Andrew Harrison was 25th. there was a total of 7 Kentucky players in the top 27. Stanley Johnson is priority number one. Period.

I’m sure he is aware. It would be a huge shock if he was not a ” UK ” Wildcat. HUGE !

The kids we land Towns / Ulis / Johnson / Booker / and this one will surprise you, I have an insider if you will, and she says we are 80% on ( Okafor ) and she also said that we still are in good with Jones. I asked if we got Ulis would that cut out Jones she said that it had no bearing on his decision. That would be the best of both world’s
