Randall Cobb wasn’t the only former Cat to suffer an injury during last night’s preseason NFL games. Rookie OLB Bud Dupree had to leave the Steeler’s game against the Buffalo Bills last night due to an injury to his right foot. According to reports after the game, Dupree confirmed that the injury was pre-existing and that he was hoping it would not affect his playing time Saturday.
“I’ve been hoping it heals and gets better, and I was hoping to play through it, but it just wasn’t,” Dupree told Neal Coolong of DKonPittsburghSports.com.
Steeler’s Head Coach Mike Tomlin said Dupree’s injury doesn’t seem to be serious though and that the outside linebacker’s foot was just sore.
