(H/T @UKAthletics)

1ST DOWN
Run: 17 rushes for 69 yards (4.1 ypc)
Pass: 7-13, 82 yards, 1 sack for -4 yards

Combined Season Statistics
Run: 69 rushes for 367 yards (5.3 ypc)
Pass: 36-50, 474 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 3 sacks for -9 yards

RECAP: Fantastic defense against the run on 1st down and holding Mizzou to nearly 50% completion on the passes.  The yardage on the passes could be lessened a bit but overall the defense was quite solid against the Tigers.

2ND DOWN AND LONG (6 yards or more)
Run: 7 rushes for 37 yards (5.3 ypc)
Pass: 4-12, 56 yards, 1 TD

Combined Season Statistics
Run: 22 rushes for 117 yards (5.3 ypc)
Pass: 15-30, 129 yards, 1 TD, 1 sack for -5 yards

RECAP: After some early sturggles in this scenario, UK forced Mizzou into 6 straight incompletions to end the game.  That’s important because Mizzou was constantly in 3rd and long because of it.

2ND DOWN AND SHORT (5 yards or less)
Run: 2 rushes for 10 yards (5.0 ypc)
Pass: 1-2, 7 yards

Combined Season Statistics
Run: 27 rushes for 156 yards (5.8 ypc), 2 TD
Pass: 6-11, 26 yards

RECAP: Mizzou didn’t have many chances in this scenario, further proof of how good the UK defense was on 1st down.

3RD DOWN AND LONG (6 yards or more)
Run: 3 rushes for 12 yards (4.0 ypc) (converted 0 of 3)
Pass: 6-8, 69 yards, 1 sack for -15 yards (converted 5 of 9)

Combined Season Statistics
Run: 5 rushes for 24 yards (4.8 ypc) (converted 0 of 5)
Pass: 12-22, 129 yards, 3 sacks for -27 yards (converted 7 of 25)

RECAP: If there was a weak spot for the UK defense on Saturday it was the pass defense on 3rd and long.  Up to this point, UK had only allowed 2 passing 1st downs on 3rd and long.  Against Missouri alone, they gave up 5.  That kind of defense is UK of the past.  Here is to hoping that was just a 1 game glitch.

3RD DOWN AND SHORT (5 yards or less)
Run: 2 rushes for 3 yards (1.5 ypc) (converted 1 of 2)
Pass: None

Combined Season Statistics
Run: 15 rushes for 56 yards (3.7 ypc), 2 TD (converted 11 of 15)
Pass: 2-8, 1 INT, 1 sack for -8 yards (converted 0 of 9)

RECAP: Only 2 plays run by Missouri here but UK did stop them in 1 of them, so that’s nice.
