BTI’s Rants and Ramblings: The KSR Records

We have now reached the 8 1/2 year mark here at KSR, with a lot of high points along the way.  When you consider where this website began (MATT’S FIRST EVER POST) and now where it is, with a radio show and summer tour and a national presence, it’s really been an amazing journey.  I thought we could reminisce for a minute about some of the records and interesting nuggets from our time on the internet.  Hope you enjoy reading back at some of the great posts of the past.

Finally some proof that TT posts way too much. Back to the kitchen.

      No kidding.

The fact that there is not a football name until number 11 shows the incredible bias, arguably going through the greatest recruiting ever yet none of their names are up there.

UK football needs to start winning SEC games, then they can complain about coverage. My hope is Stoops & Brown will show that they can actually coach the team, not just recruit.

      Hasn’t happened yet…

In case you haven’t noticed, we haven’t been great at football in like 60 years, and we are great a basketball. I am with you in that I want the football team to be great too. But you cant tell any football name that compares to the names on that list, other than Randall Cobb.

      Andre Woodson
      Dickie Lyons
      Stevie Johnson
      Wesly woodyard*
      Danny trevathen*
      Kennon burton
      Cory Peters
Micah Johnson (still our highest ever recruit)
      Drew barker
      *definitely should be there

Plus the fact that Cobb is so far down is a complete joke at of anyone on this list you could argue he has had the most success among the players on the list

How in the heck is Matt Elam not one of the most mentioned people? The guy got 10 posts a day for over 6 months.

1996? LOL. If Matt Jones could only fathom the depths of lowliness that were to come.

Always good to reflect back and know where you come from. KSR has really opened up the limited communication we had prior to KSR.

Much appreciated and why isn’t TT on the radio show ever? Doesn’t she have a face for KSR remotes?

BTI I know you take a lot of heat but I for one am glad you came back to KSR. No one is perfect and you (as all) have the occasional crappy post but in general I always enjoy reading your work. Lots of stats, randomness, sometimes poor grammar, and such equate to good stuff. Sometimes people take things too seriously and forget the original ‘most ridiculous manner possible’ part.
