BTI’s Rants and Ramblings: State Semis Tonight in High School Football!

Which 12 teams will get to play for a state title? That will be decided tonight across the state over 6 classes. Last week saw three defending state champions go down, so we’ll have new champions in at least 6-A, 4-A, and 1-A this year. Louisville Trinity has vaulted into the national Top 25 and now faces St. Xavier for what seems to be the 50th straight year in the playoffs. It is likely the most heated rivalry in the state and thus will be played at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Here’s to hoping your alma mater is still alive and Happy Thanksgiving!
