1st Down
Pass: 5-8, 54 yards, 1 INT, 1 sack for -6 yards

Run: 19 rushes for 91 yards (4.8 ypc), 1 TD

Combined Season Statistics
Pass: 44-75, 581 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT, 4 sacks for -29 yards (1 fumble lost)
Run: 190 rushes for 1,055 yards (5.6 ypc), 4 TD

RECAP: An almost 5 yards per carry total is nice but the big plays just weren’t there against Georgia on 1st down.  In fact, UK had just 2 of those 19 rushes go for over 10 yards.  But, the Cats continue to avoid negative plays and are just dangerous enough with the pass to keep defenses honest.

2nd Down and Long (6 yards or more)
Pass: 2-4, 11 yards, 1 sack for -8 yards

Run: 8 rushes for 68 yards (8.5 ypc)

Combined Season Statistics
Pass: 28-47, 365 yards, 3 TD, 3 INT, 7 sacks for -45 yards (1 fumble lost)
Run: 87 rushes for 518 yards (6.0 ypc)

RECAP: By far UK’s best rushing set of plays but the passing attack was anemic here.

2nd Down and Short (5 yards or less)
Pass: 1-1, 10 yards

Run: 6 rushes for 25 yards (4.2 ypc), 2 TD

Combined Season Statistics
Pass: 9-123, 172 yards, 1 TD, 1 sack for -5 yards (1 fumble lost)
Run: 40 rushes for 201 yards (5.0 ypc), 4 TD

RECAP: UK just continued hammering Boom and Snell in this set but didn’t experience much success.  Two short touchdowns here though so from a scoring standpoint, that was great.  But they averaged a little under 1 yard per carry from what they have this season.

3rd Down and Long (6 yards or more)
Pass: 3-7, 46 yards (converted 2 of 7)

Run: 1 rush for 13 yards (13.0 ypc) (converted 0 of 1)

Combined Season Statistics
Pass: 22-49, 348 yards, 4 TD, 3 INT, 7 sacks for -58 yards (converted 14 of 56)
Run: 16 rushes for 105 yards (6.6 ypc), 1 TD (converted 2 of 12)

RECAP: Cats have been terrible all season on 3rd and long and not much changed on Saturday.  The huge 3rd down conversion in the 4th to Baker was the highlight but not anything else to write home about.  When UK is forced to throw, defenses still eat them up.

3rd Down and Short (5 yards or less)
Pass: 0-1 (converted 0 of 1)

Run: 4 rushes for 7 yards (1.8 ypc) (converted 2 of 4)

Combined Season Statistics
Pass: 7-17, 75 yards, 1 INT, 2 sacks for -4 yards (converted 7 of 18)
Run: 28 rushes for 188 yards (6.7 ypc) (converted 20 of 28)

RECAP: Only converting 40% of the 3rd and short is a bad way to keep the offense on the field.
