Five-star shooting guard Bryan Antoine is one of the most coveted players in the 2019 class and he will take one of his official visits to Kentucky.

According to Adam Zagoria, Antoine will take his official visit to Lexington on September 22. He’ll also visit Florida on September 15, Duke on September 29, and Villanova on November 3. He has one more official visit he can take, and should he decide to, it will likely be to Kansas, the last school in his top five.

Although Duke is the perceived frontrunner, the 6’5″ shooting guard told Ben Roberts that he’s very, very interested in Kentucky.

“(I like) the coaching staff and how the coaches let their players play. And I was down there for an unofficial visit. The campus was amazing,” Antoine said of UK in an interview with the Herald-Leader. “I know a couple of players at Kentucky, and they tell me everything about Kentucky. The past players that have gone to Kentucky — they pretty much stormed the league. So I’m just trying to follow in their footsteps.”

Antoine’s teammate and close friend Scottie Lewis is also high on the Cats and included them in his top seven earlier this month. Although they say they won’t necessarily end up at the same school, could they end up take their official visits to Kentucky together? If so, I like John Calipari’s chances.

If UK somehow ended up with Antoine and Lewis, there would be a lot of salty Villanova fans around me (live in Jersey) – most of these Nova people think Antoine and Lewis are shoo-ins. Of course, many of them felt the same way about Reid Travis.
