For the second straight year, Bowling Green East Little League is going to the Little League World Series. The Kentucky State Champs defeated Michigan 7-2 to clinch the Great Lakes Region and advance to the big show in Williamsport, Pa.
BG East will open tournament play Friday night at 7:00 p.m. EST against the Southwest Regional Champs from San Antonio, Tx. You can cheer them on by watching the games on ESPN networks, and you can check out the complete tournament schedule here.
Congrats! The BBN can’t wait to see what you’ll do the second time around on Little League’s biggest stage.

The cool thing is their regional championship got rained out two days in a row, so their game today was actually played in Williamsport. The game was moved there to make sure there was enough time to play the game. In fact, the Little League almost awarded the title to BG based solely on the fact they came out of the winners’ bracket, but the Bowling Green coaches agreed to the move to make sure it was fair for both teams.
San Antonio team is legit. Probably rock BG
