Bolden no longer attending Big Blue Madness

According to Ben Roberts over with our friends at The Herald-Leader, Marques Bolden canceled his plans to attend Big Blue Madness. The top-ranked center in the 2016 class had such a good time at Kansas last weekend, he no longer needs to take another look at Kentucky or Duke this coming weekend, as he had planned. Bolden has already visited both schools officially.

Sounds like he is a strong lean toward the Jayhawks.

Maybe Kansas is following little brother’s lead and using whores! Why would anyone be amazed at Kansas? Power forwards work better in our system anyway. Unless you find a Cousin’s clone. KY is not for everyone.

This has happened several times over the years with Kansas. Bill Self must be offering something special during recruiting visits. I dread it when I read UK recruits have plans to visit Kansas.

No, we don’t want him at UK. He is a problem child, Cal knows it and backed off. Bolden knows it and he’s picking the next best place he can land.

Sometimes it can be tough to explain to kids that they don’t know what they don’t know.

Choice for PF/C recruits should be easy. Go to Kentucky and potentially become the next Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, Karl Anthony Towns? Or go to Kansas and become the next Wayne Simien, Cole Aldrich, Cliff Alexander?

The answer is simple – KENTUCKY

How in the world is Bill Self convincing these big men to come play at KU?!? What is it that he shows that he can develop you there? Makes no sense.

Did you ever stop and think that maybe, just maybe, Cal realized he did not want him in Lexington??

Good Luck to you Mr. Bolden!

Maybe Bolden wants to go 4 years like their power forward now and not get drafted! I quit worrying about who we lose, we always get some one better!

I am always amazed when a kid wants to go to Kansas. Lawrence is the worst. How anyone could choose to be there is beyond me. Good luck, kid.

I’ve been to both the Volkswagen and Audi dealerships in Lawrence, and you aren’t lying – there is nothing there. I don’t understand it.

Why would any player not want to play for an Jr NBA team? Kansas has no shot at the Title and i am being nice for Rupp’s sake he came out of Kansas .Kentucky develop’s NBA players ! I know some people want to be the star of there team. Excuse me but the NBA has teams of the best of the best the Top Guns.To be the best you must face the best day in and day out you know like Kentucky players do .I understand Kentucky isn’t for everyone and thats OK .But Kansas , Puke, N.C. please have class go see Kevin at Vandy Vandy is an class act and needs some top players. I would love to see Vandy in the hunt every year because they are class and have the second best coach in the SEC .I wish Mr Bolden the best with his career but you are making an huge mistake as some others have done over the pass 6 years but it’s not to late watch BBM on TV and see what you are missing ! Does Kansas have weekly reports like Kentucky what our Cats done in the NBA this week. This is an family an huge Blue family for life who’s support follows you threw out your life.

He probably watched the practice on Sunday and saw how good Humprhries is, and that Humphries is going to be back next season for sure. Bolden didn’t want to share time with a potential top pick.

Some of you all are hilarious! We’re not going to get EVERY recruit. People saying Bolden is a problem child and that Cal doesn’t want him? He definitely wanted the kid. If he didn’t he’d have rescinded the offer awhile ago. Chill out….we’re going to compete for a national championship this year regardless! Let the kid breathe and stop acting like Kansas is the worst play to go. I mean, they haven’t had an AD, Boogie, KAT, or Trill come through there lately (okay, so maybe he should have come to Kentucky…lol). I’m just saying, there are big men in the NBA who make it w/o coming to UK. Best of luck to you Bolden.
