According to several online reports, Bobby Petrino is leaving Western Kentucky University after one season to return to the University of Louisville as the Cardinals’ next head football coach. He will soon pack up his belongings and his floozies and hop on his blacked-out bruiser motorcycle for a northbound ride on I-65 to the Derby City, leaving Bowling Green behind like a one-night stand after volleyball practice. Tomorrow, a new era of Louisville football begins.
Petrino and Pitino, the two hornballs behind two of the last decade’s biggest college sports scandals, under one athletic department roof. It’s too good to be true, Kentucky fans. It’s too good to be true.

I’m a UofL fan. I come to this website because I like it. It keeps me humble and I generally find it funny. I’m not thrilled by this hire at all. We are just asking for abuse from the media now. This is going to be rough 🙁

Pitino is 1-5 against UK since Cal arrived, UK leads the all time head to head series in basketball 31-15, meaning Kentucky has over TWICE as many wins in the rivalry as Louisville. Hell, UK even currently leads 14-12 all time against Louisville in football, and this isn’t even mentioning how Kentucky has 8 NCAA Basketball National Championships to UofLol’s 3, and won as many titles in a 16 year stretch (1996-2012) as Louisville has won in it’s entire program’s history.

please dont ever say that the pitino & petrino scandals are apart of “last decade’s biggest college sports scandals”. so untrue. the U probe was arguably the biggest scandal ever…. until the penn state scandal broke. and there will probably (hopefully) never be another scandal as bad as penn state. and then if it had actually been investigated thoroughly the UNC scandal is arguably the biggest grades/academic scandal ever.

One issue that has not been raised during all the sermons is that last year and this year combined, so far, in men’s basketball, football and baseball, Louisville is 127 wins and 24 losses. Kentucky is 64 wins and 60 losses.
