BJ McLeod’s Jared Lorenzen car comes up short at Kentucky Speedway

Unfortunately, Jared Lorenzen’s likeness was not doing victorious donuts at Kentucky Speedway after the Alsco 300.

B.J. McLeod donned a Jared Lorenzen Memorial Fund decal during Friday night’s Xfinity Series race at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta. Starting from pole position No. 24, McLeod could not make the climb to the top, ultimately finishing No. 20. The race was won by Cole Custer, No. 00’s fifth Xfinity victory of the year.

Even though we did not get to celebrate a Lorenzen victory last night, Jared’s giving us a few reasons to cheer at KSBar and Grille. His classic games will be airing all weekend long, with 22% of sales going directly to the Jared Lorenzen Memorial Fund. After 48 hours online, more than $56,000 has been raised, and that does not include donations made in-person.

The Big Blue Nation’s generosity never ceases to surprise.

Hey man, just for the record, “pole position” means he’d start first.

You were looking for “grid position”.
