Big Baller Brand reality show is online and dammit it looks good

I meant it when I said we as a nation need to completely ignore LaVar Ball and the Big Baller Brand empire.

But that is going to be tough to do with the Ball In The Family reality show hitting the internet today.

The series premiered on Facebook at midnight with two debut episodes to get you started. From there, new episodes will be available on Sundays beginning September 10 for a total of 10 episodes in the first season, each of which lasts about 20 minutes.

Here’s the trailer Facebook released yesterday:

As much as I want to hate it, I have to admit it looks pretty entertaining. I’m probably going to watch the two full episodes before the end of the day, and I’m disappointed in myself for that.

Damn you, LaVar Ball.

I watched one episode earlier and I thought it actually made Lavar look better. Not as gimmicky, he seems like he actually cares about his family.

The guys a character no doubt, but its all in part to get attention. There is a reason bad publicity is good publicity, especially when its not taken too far. Thats all the mans doing and the media loves it, so he gives them what they want and he get what he wants, attention to his brand. A lot of people see him as a bad guy or the villain, thats fine, but I think the guys a great father and family member. His son is a Laker like he said and he didnt mess that up, but in fact called it into fruition.

great family member? Like when his wife was in the hospital without Lavar or her sons by her side?

That’s weak, Drew. It’s pretty easy to not watch the trailer and not go to the Fb page to watch to begin with. I have zero desire to even watch a second, no matter how {trashy} good you’re trying to hype it to be.

Dangit Drew, this is the first time you’ve left me down. I even watched the trailer thinking if you’re plugging it it must be special. It’s the same damn reality BS we’ve been seeing for the past two decades.

Those have got to be some of the ugliest humans alive, and all from the same family. If basketball doesn’t work out I’m sure they’d have a great career haunting houses.
