Berea Police Dept. makes lip sync video, gets Backstreet Boys shoutout

The Berea Police Department has gone viral for its #LipSyncChallenge video, in which members of the Berea police force can be seen lip syncing the words to George Strait’s “Fireman” and the Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way.”

The video picked up even more online traction when Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys fame tweeted, “These NEVER get old! Thanks, guys for your love and service.”

It has now been viewed over 300,000 times on Facebook.

See for yourself:

Now “Tell my whyyyyyy” will be stuck in your head all day. Sorry about that.

It’s a great idea, and I’m not trying to be negative, but the camera guy sucked, and the video is grainy, nor did I see any dance moves busted out. Can’t lip sync a 90’s both and and not dance. Plus it was hard to tell if they were on pace with the actual song, should have used a better camera, or zoomed in a bit. The one video where the cop is driving around in his cruiser while lip syncing Taylor Swift haters gonna hate hate hate? (Sorry, don’t remember the actual name of the song)
