Believe it or not, McDonald’s All-American Game coverage starts today

It seems impossible to believe, but the McDonald’s All-American festivities kick off today in Chicago. Four future Kentucky players (Quade Green, PJ Washington, Nick Richards, and Jarred Vanderbilt) and two remaining targets (Mohamed Bamba, Kevin Knox) are participating in the All-Star Game, which takes place Wednesday night, but all of the fun starts today with practice and the dunk contest. Nick Roush is in Chicago for us and will bring you updates throughout the day.

Kentucky’s commits are already enjoying themselves:

Blessings 🙏🏾🍟🍔

Tyler… you already know what I’m going to say.

Are these festivities kicking off? Really? Want a do-over on that?

She’s writing about a basketball event. It’s like fingernails on a blackboard for me. 🙁

Guess I’m a UK fan the entire year. Not just during the season.

I don’t like the way phrasal verbs cross sports either but I don’t think it’s necessary to publicly reprimand Tyler. Not that anyone called and asked my opinion …

I really could care less about basketball right now. The Spring Game is coming up and spring practice notes from Freddie and Nick are providing some interesting reading. Basketball is over. It was a good run. I’ll follow bball recruiting from afar, but its time to move on from this season and on to football.

As long as our roster is short on guards for next season, my mind is going to be on basketball.

At this point it wouldn’t surprise me to see Higgins as one of the refs.
