Beers with Beshear: Hop Static CH. 2

You’ve heard the phrase “Beers with Beshear,” and now it’s coming to KentuckySportsRadio.com. Like many Kentuckians across the state at 5:00 pm, we are going to start having a “Beer with Beshear” on the website.

With taprooms, bars and restaurants closed across the state, the craft beer industry in Kentucky is suffering. Each day we will highlight a different Kentucky craft beer to show our support of all the amazing breweries across our Commonwealth.

West Sixth: Hop Static CH. 2

This is the latest beer in West Sixth’s Rotator IPA Series. The previous was, you guessed it right, Hop Static CH. 1. Although I liked CH. 1 better because of the hops used, West Sixth rocked it with CH. 2. It is brewed with all the OG hops – Galaxy, Mosaic, Cashmere, Ekuanot – which give it both the citrusy and piney tasting notes that you love in a great IPA. If you haven’t gotten your hands on CH. 2 yet, hurry up before CH. 3 comes around, which I can’t wait for!

Style: India Pale Ale (IPA)

ABV: 7.5%

IBU: N/A

Description: A highly aromatic hop forward IPA with notes of tropical fruits, stone fruit, berry, citrus and pine. A slightly sweet malt profile carries hop flavors to the finish with notes of caramel and toasty bread.

Not sure why anyone would buy from them at $10 a 6-pack. Two dollars cheaper to buy from Total Wine. Kroger’s also has some sales.

Why not just have a weekly beer update? Why do you have to include clowna$$ Andy in it? I bet your daddy matty libery wouldn’t have allowed a Beers with Bevin.
