I haven’t even really got excited about UK basketball. I hope that changes in the future and maybe as I’m watching this practice this weekend it will. I’m not sure though!

I’m excited about basketball, but it still feels like the start of the season is really far away. I’m still excited about football, and the salaciousness of the U of L scandal is just too fascinating to pass up right now.

I think we have twins again. Look at dudes 3 and 4 in that picture above. Is that the Murray twins?

Haha they do look pretty close to twins!

I saw Sicario over the weekend. Had some pretty intense moments. Decent movie. Would recommend.

Any new information regarding adultery, prostitutes, sodomy, and drugs at UL? I’m a huge Card fan and this is the best place to get the actual scoop on my team.

Yeah, the police are involved now. Thanks for lining Matt’s pockets and help this site be a success! I wouldn’t know if they’re talking about UK on Card Chronicle because I’m never bored enough to go there. Apparently neither are you.

when the feds get involved because of sex trafficking of a minor across state lines you will be getting lots of new info. the reason ricky p and the admin are not commenting is because their criminal atty said not to talk until compelled by the courts. i bet they take the 5th when that happens.

Where did the money come from to pay for Ms. Powell and company? If there is a paper trail involving the money, that will be the smoking gun in this scenario for U of L.

Saw “The Walk” this weekend. Very good all the way through and the final sequence IS very intense. I had sweaty palms, but didn’t get sick. One of Robert Zemeckis’ best films since his “Roger Rabbit,” “Forrest Gump,” “Back To The Future” heydays.

  19. Daniel

Also, thumbs up to “Sicario” and thumbs-in-the-middle for “The Martian.” Entertaining, but the dialogue was ridiculously corny and took me out the movie.

Sicario is the best movie of 2015, so far. Much better than Everest, Black Mass, The Martian, Mad Max: Fury Road, M.I. Rogue Nation, The Gift Super performances by Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin and especially Benicio del Toro. A good look at the drug trade on our southern border. Is any of it accurate, well maybe Ex Machina would be my choice of second best movie of 2015.

Maybe I missed it, but has the NCAA cleared Skal to play yet??

    • J-Dub421
      12:13 pm October 7, 2015 Permalink

The NCAA isn’t going to declare Skal or anyone else “eligible.” They will only rule that someone is ineligible. That hasn’t happened and is unlikely to happen.

    • greg
      12:17 pm October 7, 2015 Permalink

Espn.com just posted an article saying he has not yet been cleared. WTH??

    • BlueRedneck
      12:18 pm October 7, 2015 Permalink

Yeah, and what frightens me about that is that they have a history of conveniently declaring players “ineligible” retroactively after the season is done. They should not be able to do that, IMO. Or at least, they should apply it evenly, cough, cough, Corey Magette.

    • J-Dub421
      12:41 pm October 7, 2015 Permalink

In Cal and Sandy Bell we trust. On another note, why is the NCAA always so incredibly slow?? Either they have something or they don’t, make a ruling already! What’s the hold-up? These types of investigations shouldn’t take months and months.
