It’s time for another exciting edition of Kentucky Sports Radio’s favorite game — Awesome or Weird!
Today’s show stars summer barbecue’s most scrumptious side dish, macaroni and cheese. A delicious treat, few foods are more well-liked in the world than a warm helping of gooey mac and cheese. One company is going to new extremes to give Americans a hearty side of carbohydrates.
Stouffer’s sells its mac and cheese as “creamy, cheesy, goodness.” Now the company is shoving that goodness down your throat in the most efficient way possible. Today they shared the image above and announced on Twitter. “It’s very real: We created a Mac on Tap dispenser delivering Mac & Cheese straight from the tap! Coming soon…”
It begs the question: Awesome or Weird? Allow me to make a case for both sides.
Awesome: Can you think of a better tailgate accessory than pouring cheesy deliciousness from the tap of a giant noodle? You will be the talk of the Blue Lot and you can keep your tailgaters satisfied without the risk of having that cheesy, deliciousness go cold. It also allows you to get creative with your mac and cheese by pouring it onto other items like hot dogs, burgers and pizza, completely changing the game.
Weird: Taps were made from beer. Who in their right mind needs to dispense their mac and cheese at such a rapid rate? Are we really that obsessed that if we don’t inject those calories quick enough we’ll go mad? It’s preposterous and Stouffer’s probably won’t deliver on their promise anyway.
So, what’s it going to be? Is enjoying Mac and cheese from the tap Awesome or Weird?
