Antonio Blakeney will announce his decision on Friday

Whoa, there! Ready for some breaking news? According to ESPN’s Reggie Rankin, 2015 five-star shooting guard Antonio Blakeney will announce his decision Friday at 4:30 p.m. on ESPNU, and he’s down to Kentucky, LSU, and Missouri. If you’ll ever so fondly remember, Blakeney was committed to Louisville for 11 days in September before wisely reopening his recruitment. He’s considered the 3rd best shooting guard and the 17th best overall player in the 2015 class.

Blakeney visited UK back on October 31, and a week later, visited LSU. Right now, the Tigers are considered the favorite in his 247 Crystal Ball, leading UK 55% to 31%. His friend and former AAU teammate Ben Simmons is already committed to LSU. In the past, Blakeney has said he wanted to wait until the spring to announce in order to see who stays and who goes to the pros for each of the schools he’s considering. Hmmmm…not looking good, but never count out Cal.

I’d like to get Blakeney just to piss off all the Louisville fans, but to be perfectly honest, I’d rather get Malik Newman or Jaylen Brown. Or both, that would be awesome.

He isn’t in Malik Newman’s league. Next. CATS. If he does commit though, welcome to the BBN.

He is a good player but goes to LSU. Cal has his guy. What does JT say, “Cal’s got this.”?

And if they return, are you implying that that’s a BAD thing? Because it seems as if you are.

I think Cal goes after a decent size class because he knows he could have up to 7 guys go to the draft. I think we get Newman, Brown and at least one big man (Bragg or Zimmerman) and Thon Maker if he reclassifies.

Yes, we could have 7 drafted.

But we could just as likely only have 3-4.

Willie and KAT are really the only sure fire guys to leave.

Personally, I think Dakari and Lyles will be tempted to leave as well.

The twins are simply not good enough (yet?) for the NBA….well maybe Aaron is, but does he enter draft with virtually the entire NBA coming to the conclusion that Andrew is at best free agent possibility. No way he is drafted after this year. No way.

Ulis, Booker, Lee, and Alex are definitely coming back. Hopefully Willis doesn’t transfer.

there is a good chance Ulis, Lee and Alex return. #10 if Booker stays, undefeated #10.
