An Update on the Postgame Parking Lot Brawl

Pictured above is the scene from the Blue Lot after the game when UK fans got into a violent altercation.

Jennifer Palumbo of WKYT was there when the dispute turned bloody.  Three men were involved in the fight, two leaving with head injuries after the alleged assailant pistol-whipped them in the scram.  UK Police Chief Joe Monroe said that Joe Walters has been charged with second-degree assault and first degree wanton endangerment.

A sad way to end the day.  Here’s to a full recovery from the victims, regardless of the source of the dispute.

Great knowing we got dudes in the blue lot carrying a gun. Really makes you want to take your kids to a UK sporting event. I’ve made my last trip to Commowealth. It’s bad enough watching pathetic football. Last thing I need is some idiot with a gun and bullets flying around, accident or not and get shot. How about charging the guy with possession of a weapon on school property?

Considering 5% of American’s have permits to carry a concealed weapon, I’m guessing your kids have been much closer to danger than the blue lot.

Of all the things we could be discussing… Who CARES about a fight in the parking lot! Really?! This gets its own post and Barker’s MISSED TD at the end of the first half gets no mention?

Come on KSR… This is a pretty big moment for UK football, (even if we lost) so provide some darn coverage. You already have the readers, post something worth reading.

Guns don’t kill people – diseases from strippers in UofL dorms kill people.

Wtf? Carrying at a game. Hopefully, he at least could not go in the stadium packing… We’ve gone off the deep end.

Coaching staff and the team needed to go to the blue lot to learn how to fight, they just give up to easy.

There may be some truth to that.
