Really enjoyed the show Friday with Kenny, I’ve been wanting him to be on KSR for years. Hope he gets to come back.

Got to love Cutler as well.

  2. Any more stories of shouting matches with Pitino??? 😉

2nd show in a week that I had to shut it down early. Friday’s show and today’s show has got to be number 1 and 2 of the most boring shows in KSR history. I have been listening for 5 years. You might as well have Jerry Eaves do the show.

Depends if you like stories and history or not. Of course it’s not as funny as usual, but some of the stuff Friday was fascinating. Mitch Barnhart with MMA? Who knew?

This is why I think people that hate listening to Matt are crazy. It’s hard to be that entertaining day in and day out. Especially this time of year.

    • Yup Realme. News is slow this time of year when your talk show/website center around one university’s sports (and really, it’s only 2 sports since less popular sports like baseball, softball, etc. only get a little attention).

You’re right Realme. Listening when Matt is on is almost like listening to a game. He changes it up a lot to keep it crazy. I guess I keep forgetting that the off season can get a little slow. I gotta go back and listen to some older podcasts.

Thunder is my favorite event in Louisville. It really depends on your location. If you watch it from a distance or on TV, it’s just so-so. If you just have to stand in the crowd with the masses it’s just okay. But if you get lucky enough to watch it from a boat or building or roped-off location with free food and decent bathrooms, it’s great. The air show is top notch, and the pure intensity of the fireworks never cease to amaze me.

  5. “Richard Madison can throw a baseball 90 mph” was the original “Did you know WCS played wide receiver in high school?”

Why would anyone get their knickers in a twist over walk-ons?

Especially to the point of writing a letter to the editor. So silly.

Plus, Brad will be a 4 year player, so getting Brad locks up Coach Cal at UK for the next 4 years. That right there is more than worth it.

    • Of course we thought Tyler was a 3 or 4 year player too. Maybe Brad will be “2 and too-da-loo” too! Hah!

I don’t think Cal brought him here just to have him around. I think he’ll expect Brad to EVENTUALLY work himself into some playing time.

Brad is probably good enough to earn some playing time eventually, but I don’t expect him to ever be a started or anything like that.
