Adebayo on UK’s class: “It’s going to be as solid as cement”
Shortly after announcing his commitment live on ESPN, and then retweeting every single mention of his name on Twitter, Bam Adebayo made a guest appearance on Kentucky Sports Radio radio to discuss his future as a Wildcat.
He wasn’t a man of many words during the interview, but he did give us one line we really enjoyed:
When asked about Kentucky’s current recruiting class — Adebayo, Sacha Killeya-Jones, Wenyen Gabriel and De’Aaron Fox — the five-star big man said, “I think it’s a group that is going to be as solid as cement.”
“I know those guys very well, ” he told KSR.
Adebayo also said the decision to commit to Kentucky was to “make his dream come true.” That dream is to care of his mother, and he trusts Coach Cal with putting him in position to do that.
“He sells it well, but he’s also a good person.”
Adebayo made the decision a week ago, he says.

He looks like Jones, Randle, and Patterson rolled in to one. He will have no problem grabbing boards.

I now live in Carolina and let me tell you. The Caka-lak-ians are not happy with him leaving NC. I think this is a HUGE commitment. I cant wait to watch this kid play. Nothing but mean-energy. I am glad we have a solid big body to bang around down low. This kid’s game may even get a blue hair to stand up!
