It’s Monday and even with no sports it’s still another jam-packed episode of the Aaron Torres Podcast. Aaron opens the show by discussing “The Last Dance,” Kansas’ problems with the NCAA and Zion and Duke in hot water. Then he welcomes future Kentucky Wildcat BJ Boston to the show.
Here is a full rundown of today’s episode:
The Last Dance, Kansas/NCAA issues and Zion: Aaron opens the show like he has the last few weeks by discussing the “Last Dance” (4:00). He explains why MJ taught society a very valuable lesson about greatness on Sunday night, and also breaks down the wild decision by MJ to play baseball. Then Aaron discusses the latest with Kansas and the NCAA and asks: Why does Bill Self always get a pass from the media (18:30)? Finally, he discusses the wild Zion Williamson/Duke story from Sunday afternoon (43:30) and why — while it’s a great topic — it really is much to do about nothing.
BJ Boston joins the show: Top 5 recruit and future Kentucky Wildcat BJ Boston joins the show. He discusses his season at Sierra Canyon and lessons learned from LeBron James, as well as what he’s learned from the Michael Jordan documentary. Then he talks about his decision to attend Kentucky, what he likes most about John Calipari and what he will bring to Lexington next season.
