Another weekend of college football is in the books and Aaron Torres is here to recap it all. He talks all the big games, including Texas-LSU and A&M-Clemson, and discusses why Michigan is screwed, why Tennessee is worse than anyone could ever imagine and what does Kentucky do post-Terry Wilson? Here is a rundown of today’s show.
LSU wins and is a national title contender: In the big game of the weekend LSU went to Texas and not only left with a win — but Aaron believes, a shot at the national title. He explains why this offense is what makes this team so different, and why it’s a credit to Coach O for shaking things up. He also wonders if — like Alabama and Georgia — they could get into the playoff mix if they finish the regular season with one loss and don’t win the SEC Championship.
Clemson is a juggernaut… again: Even after they lost basically their entire defense, Clemson proved that they are still a cut above everyone else (not named “Bama”) in a dominant win over Texas A&M. With a soft schedule, did Clemson already (unofficially) clinch a playoff spot? And is it bad for college football that they are so much better than the rest of the ACC?
A Wild CFB Weekend: Aaron wraps by discussing all the big stories in the sport this weekend. He explains why Michigan is screwed, even with a win, and why Tennessee has hit another new rock bottom with no end in sight. He also discusses the injury to Terry Wilson and wonders if Gunnar Hoak regrets leaving Kentucky.
