Aaron Torres Sports Podcast Ep. 172: Louisville head coach Chris Mack

It’s a HUGE episode of the Aaron Torres Sports, as Aaron is joined by Louisville head basketball coach Chris Mack! The two discuss his 2019-2020 Cardinals squad, his respect for John Calipari and a number of other big topics heading into the season. But first, Aaron hits on a number of different topics across college basketball.

The “Rich Paul Rule” Plus Other College Basketball Topics: Torres leads things off with the NCAA’s new rules on agents, which some are calling the “Rich Paul Rule” in honor of LeBron’s agent. Aaron says this has nothing to do with Rich Paul, and everything to do with protecting fringe NBA Draft picks. Also, Aaron discusses a devastating injury for Arizona basketball, USC signing the No. 1 high school player in America, and Auburn coming down on itself with crazy punishment.

Louisville head coach Chris Mack: Next, Aaron is joined by Louisville head coach Chris Mack. The two discuss his team, which many believe will be ranked in the Top 5 coming into the year. He discusses what he’s seen so far, what to expect from his big-time freshmen and can they live up to expectations? Plus, they discuss Louisville’s new court design, Mack’s insane summer workout, and his respect for John Calipari.

UL top five is a joke. An 8 that got crushed by the worst 9, and that 9 lost the next game by a million. Lost the best point they had. Not one single impact player and let’s be Honest mack hasn’t done a thing ever. Played in a crappy conference prior, always lost to ranked teams, was 1-10 against the only decent team in Villanova, lost always as a higher seed. Had it not been for Virginia losing as a 16, would have been the next biggest upset of the tourney that year. Plus he likes ugly whores and cheating. Looks like a more goofy, more bald Terry miners. Enjoy probation Chris, but he only came for the fat payout.
