Today will be a crazy day in Louisville. A traffic mess.

I think the Caytes can win this game. We need win this one and the game on Saturday.

Trump is just like Obama in that he says what he wants to do, but he never has any details about how he will do it. Isn’t eight years of a presidential village idiot learning as he goes enough?

anybody know if there’s an official source for road closures in the city for this nonsense? i hate sitting in traffic, politicians, and louisville athletics… having to sit that is caused by both of those things would send me over the edge

Trump will win the nomination. With that said, I think he is the ONLY GOP candidate capable of beating Hillary in November. That is crazy to think about.

I like Rubio, but he won’t beat Trump or Hillary.

    • Sentient Third Eye
      10:16 am March 1, 2016 Permalink

According to the polls, he’s the only Republican who CAN’T beat Hillary. in November.

    • Realme
      10:22 am March 1, 2016 Permalink

He has enough Republican following to either win the nomination or run separately and ruin any Republican nominee’s chance of winning, but would never beat Hillary (unless she gets indicted) because he is hated as much by his non-followers as he is loved by his followers. As STE points out, polls support this notion.

according to the polls, Jack Conway should be Governor of KY. Careful about believing those “polls”.

Currently, I think you guys are right. However, when all is said and done for the GOP results, I think you will see other opponents endorse Trump. Cruz being one of them. I think everyone outside of Rubio will endorse him. It will end up being Hillary vs. the world and I believe the world will win if Trump is that nomination.

Like I said, Rubio is probably my pick if it were today. I’m shaking my head thinking about Trump running the country.

    • Realme
      10:39 am March 1, 2016 Permalink

Yeah, I just don’t agree, I think in the end it will be the world vs. Trump. Media, liberals, moderates, etc. are going to look at Hillary as the lesser of the two evils.
I wish that after the inevitable nominees are announced, a third party candidate that isn’t on the radar right now, and also isn’t awful, would emerge and run away with it.

IMO Kasich is the only guy who can for sure beat Hillary. The trouble is he can’t beat any of the Republicans. Rubio has a chance against Hillary. There just ain’t enough Trumps Chumps for him to be President.

    • Realme
      10:53 am March 1, 2016 Permalink

There you go. Kasich can be the guy to run independently and take it from Clinton and Trump. All the Dems that don’t like her and all the Reps who don’t like him could come together and vote for him.

    • Laker Cat 18
      11:00 am March 1, 2016 Permalink

No way Kasich wins the GOP nomination and there is absolutely no way he wins as another party in November. No one outside of the Democratic or Republican party has received an electoral vote since 1972, let alone win an election. We can all hope and wish, but realistically, it won’t happen.

The other factor is whether Hillary is indicted or pardoned for her email mess. If that happens after her nomination, she’s toast regardless. If it’s before the nomination, the Democrats may go the brokered convention route and bring back Biden. There’s no way Trump could beat Biden.

in an era where sports stars are criminally charged more than ever, i dare you to find a single off-the-court incident for cousins. He has been a model citizen. If he gets a little testy during a game, that’s for the officials and nba to decide. but off the court, he has been a better citizen than any of us. He’s never been in trouble and has donated millions to charity. i doubt any of us a can make the same claims… so cats paw, once again, you can suck a big ole fatty on your way back to card chronicle.

Pitino has coached a single (ONE) consensus all american in his time at louisville.. if you think Willis would be better than all those other players in your program in the last 15 years, i think that says more about your program than it does pitino and calipari…

Kinda sure Willis would rather be on a team, not having to miss the Tournament, due to their coaches, and the players, poor behavior. Just sayin’. All American, maybe? But if Rick could have gotten the talent Cal has, I doubt Willis would have seen the floor.
