Well, this has been quite the week.
And by that, I mean it’s been pretty amazing to be a Kentucky fan right now. (Not that it’s ever not amazing.)
Earlier this week, UK Hoops got a much-needed addition to their roster with 6’4 center Olivia Owens granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA following her transfer to Kentucky from Maryland.
A source close to the Kentucky program has confirmed to KSR that Olivia Owens has been granted immediate eligibility for the upcoming season, adding a 6-foot-4 center to an already impressive roster. https://t.co/U3OHfCk816

KSR’s very own Zack Geoghan broke the news, a huge get for the program, leading Matthew Mitchell’s Cats to be even more loaded for the upcoming season.
Then, a strange, but intriguing tweet from Roger Harden almost broke Joe B. Hall’s phone.
In a tweet addressed to the BBN, Harden asked fans to send Coach Joe B. Hall encouraging messages via his cell phone after the loneliness of the pandemic had taken a particularly hard toll on the legendary coach.
He then proceeded to tweet Hall’s number to the general public. Which Twitter then removed. But not before Coach Hall could receive over 1,000 texts.
BBN, Coach Hall is reading all your text and often overcome w/emotion by what you wrote. You really blessed him. Nobody does it better than you BBN! With a ?full gratitude the Hall family thank each of you. Over 1,000 texts in 8 hrs family reported. God save the BBN! pic.twitter.com/q2WyfKF4Mi

Then, Kentucky Football defeated Tennessee in Knoxville on Saturday.

I said defeated, but what I meant was literally crushed. Smacked down. Wiped the floor with. For the first time since 1984.
That’s 15 years before I was even born.
Bit of a monumental day for multiple generations of Cats fans.
This week has been so good. I wonder what next week will bring?
After texting Joe B. Hall a picture of my dog earlier this week, I now believe that practically anything can happen.
