Earlier, Kindsey talked about the EYBL performances of some UK recruits. Well, Mitchell Robinson is back is back on the market after decommitting from Texas A&M and says he wants to hear from Kentucky.
So far, Robinson has heard heavily from LSU, but also North Carolina. Robinson told Jerry Meyer of 247 Sports, “I like how they play. I like their game style.”
Will he hear from Kentucky? That’s for Calipari to figure out. According to 247 Sports, Robinson is currently the no. 4 center and no. 33 overall in the class of 2017. Here’s what Meyer had to say in a post written by Kevin Flaherty on 247 Sports:
“He has great length as a 7-footer with very long arms, he has great hands and he’s mobile,” said Jerry Meyer, 247Sports director of basketball scouting. “He looked like Randy Moss on one play running down the court, snagging a ball and finishing with his inside hand on a layup. He has great upside.”
Check out Robinson for yourself:
Robinson is currently averaging 13.6 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.1 blocks per game in the EYBL games this year. Meyer is also expecting Robinson to jump into classes top 10 after this weekend at EYBL games in Virginia.
