4-star Vandy commit will take an official visit to Kentucky

Good news in football recruiting: 4-star linebacker Josh Smith told Rivals’ Woody Womack that he’s planning to take an official visit to Kentucky sometime soon. The Murfreesboro, Tennessee native is considered the 7th best inside linebacker and the 283rd overall player in the 2015 class and committed to Vanderbilt back in July, but has now decided to take official visits to Kentucky and Ole Miss, along with one to Vanderbilt in January.

“Everything’s going well with Vanderbilt, still sticking strong,” Smith said of his commitment to Vandy. Smith’s brother plays for the Commodores, which could make flipping him especially difficult; however, getting him on campus can’t hurt, especially if it happens on December 13, a huge recruiting weekend in which almost all of UK’s current commits and top targets are set to take their officials.

Come on down and let Vince Marrow entertain you.

We need to get Kentucky fans together to work on getting the guy who wrote this article fired:

Does he not realize that Kentucky fans make up a very large portion of FoxSports’ viewing audience?

No leave him alone. This is a Clay Travis article. Just having to be Clay Travis is punishment enough.

have you ever listened to the call in show? any of them? how about before a game?

“I thank Willie gone block ’em and Poytritch gone dunk! whatchuthingabowddit, O?”

i listen just to laugh at people, the conversations that go on at rupp are just ridiculous … we have some pretty dumb fans and they’re generally the ones that are first to speak up. people are going to point it out, just deal with it. the article is actually kind of funny, just have a little humility.

If this article, which was written over a year ago, makes you mad, then he is talking about you. The article is satire and he wrote them in an attempt to troll the fan bases into flooding his site with clicks and giving him mentions on Twitter. All those things generate revenue. If you don’t like what he writes, just ignore it. That’s the only way to beat a troll. Plus, he owns the website He can’t be fired, only carved back out of the Fox Family, which won’t happen.

Also, he is a UT fan and puts them on the list too. Learn to have a sense of humor or just ignore him.

I would tend to agree that the avg IQ of UK fans is below the mean. BBN is the most loyal, without a doubt, but that doesn’t contradict the IQ results.
