4-star RB deciding between UK, Michigan State, Pitt, and West Virginia today

Darrin Hall is a 4-star running back from Youngstown, Ohio, and 5 p.m. today, he’ll announce his college decision between Kentucky, Pitt, Michigan State, and West Virginia. Hall is considered the 22nd best running back in the 2015 class by 247 Sports Composite, and although most believe Pitt is the favorite, you can never count out Vince Marrow’s connections in the area. Pitt currently leads his Crystal Ball with 43%, followed by Michigan State with 30% and the Cats with 22%.

Hall’s announcing at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Youngstown, so if you’re in the area, go on out and make one last case for the Cats.

A commitment would definitely hurt our chances with Damien Harris.

We’re already stacked at RB for 2-3 years, I doubt we get this kid regardless of what Harris is doing.

Harris is a good target because he could be #1 on the depth chart for 2-3 years, I haven’t heard enough about Hall to know whether he’d have that same potential.

If you are the #1 running back in the country in your respective class, youre probably not worried about who is currently on a roster…. Especially if they are your age. In the case of who we currently have, Damien Harris is a whole nother level boys and girls.

Sounds like UK has backed off this kid. With Harris plus the Dowell twins, Hall dropped on the wishlist. Even striking out on both of these option, UK is extremely deep at RB for the next 2-3 years.

Niccolini’s Italian restaurant in Boardman is great if you’re in the area. Gotta love the level we’ve reached in recruiting. No longer contending with MAC schools, etc for players

Right now, we need some more 4* receivers, linebackers, and defensive ends.

We can use a *4 anything. It takes more than one running back in the sec to be a contender. Would love for this kid to pick ky. Harris is #1 and wouldn’t have a problem getting playing time and knows it.

Kentucky has a 4* LB (Eli Brown), a 4* WR (Alex Stump) and a 4* DE (Darius Fullwood). Add that to our 4* TE (CJ Conrad) and 4* OG (George Asafo-Adjei). Mix in the fact that we still have 10-12 spots to fill and I think our recruiting class will be just fine.

I am aware of the verbals we have so far and although it is exciting, we need more of it. I think you should pick one rating service and not cherry pick stars. I am somewhat familiar with who we are going after and who the experts are saying we are on the radar with. I would be excited if we got players like CeCe Jefferson , Marcus Lewis, George Campbell, Ricky Deberry, Kyle Phillips, Damien Harris (this one we may get) D’Andre Walker, Devante Peete, Asmar Bilal, Anthony McKee (this one we may get), David Dowell (may get), So far we have around five 4* players that we have a chance to get. That and some solid 3 star players will get us another top twenty five recuiting class which I think is important to help keep the momentum going ( and winning more games of course).
