3-star DE Jordan Wright commits to Kentucky

We now interrupt rivalry talk for some big football recruiting news. Three-star defensive end Jordan Wright just committed to Kentucky via Twitter:

@JayyDubb15
The 6’5″ 225 lbs. Wright hails from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and picked UK over Arkansas, although he also had offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Louisiana State, Michigan, Oklahoma and Southern Cal. He’s considered the 21st best weakside defensive end in the country and is Kentucky’s 21st commitment, seventh this month. He’s also the seventh commitment from the state of Florida, all recruited by Eddie Gran.
Wright also plays basketball, and interestingly, spoke to John Calipari on the phone a few months ago about also playing basketball at UK as a walk-on. Whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen, but thanks for the assist, Cal!
Welcome to the fam, Jordan. Watch him work in the highlights below:

Come on down Mr. Wright!
He picked UK over Alabama?!?
Looks like the tide is turning!
/sorry
/shows self out
Look at that offer list… Heck yeah!! That win over Louisville is already paying huge dividends!
Dude looks mean as hell
Fantastic. Guy looks like a stud.
His teammate, DT Jonathan Ford (6-foot-5, 275) has been committed to Miami since January. However, Ford will take an official visit to Lexington on Jan. 13. He is rated .8822, which is nearly a 4 Star. Looks like we are going to flip KeyVaughn Dingle from Miami, why not Ford?
I followed Jonathan Ford on Twitter last night and then sent him the message below. He Liked it this morning. Again, he’s coming for an official visit on January 13. It wouldn’t hurt for other BBB folks to send a similar message.
@ford__9 Come on down to #BBN young man!!! You won’t regret it. U of Kentucky is on the Rise! Beautiful countryside up here. Take care!
