Kentucky will host 2018 pro-style quarterback Kevin Doyle this Friday. The three-star pocket passer from Washington D.C. told Justin Rowland he will make the trip to Kentucky after Darin Hinshaw and Steve Clinkscale watched him throw to his receivers today.
“We went through all our routes and (Hinshaw) was very happy with what I did,” Doyle said. “He was really happy with my arm strength and he said everything he saw last summer was what he saw again, only I’m bigger, stronger and faster than I was last year.”
Doyle has been a priority recruit since Jarren Williams reopened his recruitment. The Cats are still near the top of the dual-threat quarterback’s list, but Doyle could step in to fill the spot before Williams reconsiders. The three-star quarterback is ranked nineteenth at his position. Doyle is also considering Pitt, Boston College, Syracuse, West Virginia and others. Watch him do work:
