You’re looking at Austin and Ryan Kendall. Ryan’s the one on the right. He’s a 2014 QB/WR from North Carolina, and he just accepted a preferred walk-on spot at UK. He announced the news last night on Twitter:

Assuming the staff uses him at wide receiver, Kendall can give the Cats some help at a position they need it the most, but more importantly, he can help recruit his brother, Austin. Austin Kendall is a 4-star 2016 quarterback who’s considered the 8th best pro-style QB and the 203rd best prospect in the 2016 class. Austin visited UK for the Spring Game, and the Cats are considered one of the favorites for his services, along with Tennessee.

Seems like a win-win to me, especially since Ryan’s pretty good himself. Check out his highlights on Hudl.

Seriously think twice about walking on and paying out of state tuition. Make them give you a scholly or look elsewhere. There is a HUGE difference in being a preferred walk on and a scholarship player. Do your research of former and current walk ons before coming to Lexington. Be smart Ryan!!!!

Yeah, because I doubt there is anyone helping him make his decision. Most likely a spur of the moment kind of thought. I’m sure his mommy and daddy have the money to send him to an out of state college, if not my guess is that they probably wouldn’t do it, ya think? Good grief, is it trash day?

If you were being sarcastic…. I seriously didn’t catch this one. Possibly you are just really, really bad at it…. or maybe, just maybe so good we didn’t recognize it!

Sounds to me his brother just might be a UK lean and he would like to play with his brother. Watching his video he seems to be very athletic and should be able to earn a scholarship. Good move by Stoops.

By the why are you a card or tn fan?

Speaking of brothers. Didn’t we have a couple twins from Pitt transfer in last year and redshirt? Maybe I just missed it, but did they play in the spring game and if so how are they doing? Thought they were pretty highly regarded. One played slot receiver and one played DB I think.

They should be practicing free throws instead of posing for pictures with a frozen chupacabra. I don’t care if they don’t play basketball. Free throws, free throws, free throws.

“Hey kid it’s great that you joined the team and all but let’s talk about what really matters. Getting your brother to play here!” Do fans/writers really think before they type something? Could that be more insulting? How is it possible that the callousness of the statement doesn’t occur to someone before it gets posted? “Aren’t you a cute little football player!! Now where’s your brother?”. Good grief.

“A cute little football player”… as if his brother is a monster football player?!?! Think you’re caught up in star counting rather than reality… show some maturity! I’m sure you could accomplish all that sitting on your couch right? Douche-bag! Welcome to the BBN Ryan ignore idiots that have never played the game.

Wow serious skills for a guy his size (if you watched the highlights)!!! Tough and good instincts…things you can’t teach. But seriously was no one else impressed by the 30 and 33 yard field goals that went sailing way past the goal and the kick offs that went deep in the end zone??? Holy crap what an athlete!!!! Welcome aboard!!!

ps. if that was his brother throwing to him…. NICE!
