Calipari has Eyes on a New Class of 2016 Power Forward

Chris Fisher of 247Sports is reporting former Virginia commit Sachya Killeya-Jones is planning a visit to Kentucky. Killeya-Jones is a 6’10” power forward from Lynchburg, Va., and is ranked as the 64th best prospect in the class of 2016 according to 247Sports.

Killeya-Jones tweeted out that he heard from Kenny Payne and expected to hear from Coach Cal shortly. Since he decomitted from the Cavaliers, he’s drawn heavy interest from North Carolina as well. The one big positive for Killeya-Jones to come to Kentucky?

According to a tweet by Fisher, it was watching Calipari and staff develop Willie Cauley-Stein. Killeya-Jones told Fisher, “Kentucky can develop me like that. Calipari did a great job of turning him into a lottery pick. That’s my goal.”
