Rex Chapman beats Louisville, forces OT, and retires

rex

In honor of Rex Chapman’s Hall of Fame induction this evening, I present to you a collection of Rex’s best videos on the internet.

Up first, a young Rex puts on a show in Freedom Hall…

His three to force overtime in the 1997 Playoffs…

And my personal favorite, Rex’s press conference to announce his retirement…

You can listen to Rex and Josh Hopkins on today’s podcast at TalkRadio1080.com. It’s pretty awesome.

I think it would make Rex sound more badass if Drew put the title as “Rex Chapman forces OT, beats Louisville, then retires.”

Ryan needs to get Rex down to Body Shapes Medical. This can’t be the skinny kid I saw play just 25 yrs. ago.

Is that Snooki next to the unamused man in the picture?

That was nice of Rex to bring Snooki as a guest with him.

Is Rex the creepy Dancing Guy’s long lost child? If so, then they need to warn all fertile women sitting near Dancing Guy when he does his rail thrusts!!

I remember that game against Louisville. Great overall game by Rex, but IMHO the most important shot he made was the one just before the half. Louisville was coming back and had the momentum. That shot pushed our lead out to double digits, and gave us the momentum going in to the half. We kept the momentum in the second half and blew the Cards out. I think Rex finished with 6 3 pointers. A great individual performance and a great team performance! I don’t think I was ever prouder to be a Cat fan.
