Sadly, it seems as if the dead horse needs a break. Words mean nothing anymore, as they only fail to justify what our eyes can see. Three straight losses, two of which at home, and an 0-2 SEC start. What more has to be said? Here are a few tidbits anyway:
I don’t believe I have ever seen a team shoot 72% in a half. That is an astounding figure, and it’s quite a wonder how Kentucky was even in the game.
Great work by the zebras to keep a good flow in the game. They create such an unfair advantage when they call a foul on every drive into the paint. Players should be allowed to play a little defense. Also, even with the lack of talent on the court, they must have thought they were calling an NBA game. I counted three times they gave a player continuation on fouls occuring on the floor.
If something positive is needed, this was definitely Bobby Perry’s best game of the season.
Thinking back to last season, who’da thunk Randolph Morris would be a team leader? What a complete and pleasant 180 from his lifeless, uninsprired self a season ago.
Tubby Smith was seen picking his nose and thumbing through his ipod during timeouts in the second half.
How about bringing Mike Leach back to the bluegrass as an offensive coordinator for Tubby? I’m pretty sure his team outscores ours.
Remember when you would lose sleep on the eve of selection Sunday, agonized over the uncertainty of whether UK would get a 1 or a 2 seed? Sleep well this March…
