YAHTZEE! Another Ohio native has committed to the University of Kentucky. Armond Scott, a three-star wide receiver out of Euclid, Ohio, will be a Wildcat. His primary recruiter is listed as Vince Marrow.
The 2021 commit is listed at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds. Scott is ranked as the No. 524 player in America, the No. 118 receiver in his class and the No. 21 player in Ohio, according to the 247Sports rankings. He chose the Wildcats over Cincinnati, Boston College, Michigan State, Toledo, Wake Forest and Akron, among others.
Scott announced the news on Instagram Sunday evening.
Scott marks Kentucky’s sixth recruit for the 2021 class, including fellow wide receiver Chauncey Magwood. They will be joined by Somerset quarterback Kaiya Sheron, defensive end Kahlil Saunders, offensive tackle Paul Rodriguez, and offensive tackle David Wohlabaugh.
